sammen med tjue andre fastboende. I mangel på andre fritidsaktiviteter tilbrakte Wilhelmsen allerede som fem-åring mye tid på gutterommet med gitaren i fanget. Med Bob Dylan, Dire Straits, Ole Paus og gammel blues på musikkanlegget ble han inspirert. Da han omsider ble gammel nok til å forlate redet, peilet han seg inn på jazzlinja i Trondheim og etter mange år som gitarist i forskjellige band har han blitt en svært rutinert musiker, og etterhvert også en sanger og låtskriver med særpreg.
Etter at han kom over en sliten kassegitar til 150 kr på Fretex, begynte han å skrive sanger som resulterte i debut-EPen «Miles To Go Before I Sleep» (2014) og hans første fullengder «Riddles and Rhymes» (2015). Etter to utgivelser på engelsk, har finnmarkingen nå tatt i bruk morsmålet på sitt nye materiale, og på albumet «Stjolne mea» byr Wilhelmsen på sju spor på egen dialekt.
På Stjolne Mea har Viktor med seg sitt band, bestående av Kenneth Kapstad på trommer, Mattis Kleppen på bass og Bjørn Ola Ramfjord Johansen på orgel.
«Dette er ikke en plate som roper etter oppmerksomhet, men det er likevel veldig verdt å gi den det. Det er en helt spesiell stemning i gjennom platen, gode poetiske tekster, gode låter og ikke minst veldig dyktige musikere, som aldri påberoper mer oppmerksomhet enn akkurat hva låten trenger.»
